About Us

Sunshine of Hope in Memory of Ashley Hope was started after we lost our beautiful sunshine, Ashley Hope Neumeyer on December 8, 2019. Ashley was a medically fragile child who endured a lot in her short 22 years of life. She went through a lot of tough battles, but she always faced adversity in a kind, humble way with a smile on her face. Her smile was contagious and would light up the darkest of rooms. We started this charity because she was a very special girl and we wanted her memory to forever live on. Our mission with Sunshine of Hope is to give back and help others. We want to help medically fragile/disabled children and their families as well as sick children in the hospital who need some sunshine in their life. We remember what it felt like when kind gestures were done for Ashley and our family and we want to be able to do the same for other families. With your help, together we can make a difference!
